Mission Statement

The purpose of the Women of the ELCA in the Western Iowa Synod is to Gather as Christian woman, Reach out to others and one another, Offer love and grace through Jesus Christ, and Walk humbly with our God.

Women automatically become a member of a circle once they become a member of our congregation.  Circles meet once a month, and the women have three different times to choose from to meet:

  1. Ruth Circle meets on the 3rd Wednesday @ 9:00 am.
  2. Sarah Circle meets on the 3rd Wednesday @ 2:00 pm.
  3. Dorcas Circle meets on the 3rd Tuesday @ 7:00 pm.

During cirlces, women get together & have a Bible study & discussion time, followed by a fellowship time involving food and coffee.  The circles are following the WELCA studies that are themed: Act Boldly, and are found in the Lutheran Woman Today magazine.
